Hourly Support Services
Many individuals with Developmental Disabilities desire less structured supports, provided in their family homes or other settings. Pennsylvania MENTOR works with an individual and his or her family to provide hourly supports that help people with Intellectual Disabilities remain independent and fulfilled.
Independent-living Supports
In-home supports are available to help individuals live in the community as independently as possible, particularly those who have transitioned from more restrictive settings. Trained staff provide a variety of assistance for people living on their own or learning to do so.
Hourly supports are tailored to the needs and goals of the person. Individuals learn daily living skills and regularly participate in community activities and vocational programs, all of which provide for a greater sense of independence and personal identity.
